    I doubt that sending a PM to Flayra will help. He's the head cheese for NS itself; the NS forums are something entirely different. And AFAIK, he has nothing to do with the forums (aside from being responsible for the inspiration for them <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->). If I recall correctly, joev does most of the back-end work on these forums (<i>I'm sure another admin will loudly correct me, or even edit my pitiful post, if I'm wrong in my recollection</i>). <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    To be quite honest, yours is the first time I've heard of someone having trouble during a new account setup. It's entirely possible it's an Invision problem. These forums were sometimes a bit unstable during the months immediately following NS's release, but I'm pretty sure all the bugs have been found and fixed by now. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    As for a solution, I have none at this time. Other users seem to have no difficulty getting their accounts activated, so I'm completely stumped. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    (I hate editing my post three or more times... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)

    What usernames have you tried registering as? There's currently three users awaiting authorization from accounts created today (May 12th). Are any of the following three yours?

    antifreeze
    _Simple_Compound
    LUCIFER666

    If your new username isn't in the list, then the problem is closer to the actual account creation process and not a messed up email verification script.

    There are four users listed in the userlist with some variation of the name "Simple Compound", and three of them <i>are</i> active members. Try signing in with one of those usernames and its password.

    (heh, "Simple Compound" was in your sig all along.. gawd, I feel like such a n00b.. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->) <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I do <i>sort of</i> this kind of problem solving for 8.5 hours a day at work. Don't worry, the bill is in the mail. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--><!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
