The original plan, was for 3 Matrix films. Thats how the script was written. Its kinda like Star Wars, it was originally a massive story but the script had to be cut down substantially due to the fact people wouldnt sit in a theater for 8+ hours.
Same thing with the Matrix, originally written as 3 parts. These arent cash cows folks.
BTW, the rumor is, there may or may not be a Revolutions trailer at the end of the credits of Reloaded. And sicne Reloaded is supposed to end mid-frame, would make sense.

As for the film, think negative and the film will be good...
People put up random ratings and rant and rave about games YEARS before they come out. EQ2 already has reviews for godsake. Saying you think you'll like/dislike/hate/disembowel this movie before it comes out is, however, perfectly acceptable.
I think it will be teh rox and kick X-Men 2 outa the top ratings by a LONGSHOT. Warner Bros. has a demonic behemoth of a marketing scheme for this movie if you haven't noticed. Whether you like it or not, taking into consideration the popularity of the first one, I think it MIGHT even rival Titanic...

I just got back from watching it, and I'll try my best to keep from making any major spoilers.
OMG it r teh r0x!!!!11!!11! i luv teh actoin seens an dthe plot am realy goood.
On a more serious note, this movie takes everything you thought you knew about how the matrix works, shoves it in a trash bin, burns it, throws it into the ocean and gives you a horribly, more confusing yet perfectly logical explanation and concept of what and how the matrix actually works. It's great, go watch it.
PS- Having two friends who work at a movie theatre and one who is the closing shift manager who let you see new movies for free really, really rocks.
