They have just opened a 20 player Natural-Selection server which will be boosted to be a 30player server once the 20 player server gets filled. It is also monitored by admins for cheaters <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> .

    Yes, the game (as of v1.0x) is balanced for a 16-player server. More than that, and the Marine advantage grows. Usually I view anything larger than a 20-player server as a 'screw around' server, as there is almost no way for Marines to lose, unless they're completely and totally incompetent. Just run a pair of 16-player servers, or 14-player if the serve can't handle the load. Generally anything between 12-18 is within the ranges of 'playable'.

    Regardless of which, doesn't this belong in the 'Servers and Server Operators' forum, instead of General Discussion?

    Yeah the marines drop 3-4 spawn portals (only though they can spawn 2 at a time, two more are moved to reinforce faster than not... so it IS actually faster). And the Kharaa spawn SO slowly... it's really sad. And unless you really dominate the res wars the team never even overflows for the gorges. Did I forget to mention the 300 ping average? What? I did? There is 300 ping average.

    At the moment we made the server a 16 vs 16 player server. It will most probably stay that way until Natural-Selection v1.1 comes out. By then the balance of the MOD should be better. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    We have finally setup our own custome forum for discussion of this SUNDAY MAY 11, 2003 tournament that will last all day. If you wish to play in the tournament all you have to do is show up. Others may stop by at different times to check it out and get a chance to play.

    I've played a few times on this server in the beginning where it crashed, but its nice to see you guys fixed it. I'll try to stop by that server as much as possible.

    Always nice to see more servers.
