43.45 XP Drivers...
I have found the reason why i cant log into any games, but im still having problems. I read a post b4 about some1 having the same problem as me, but mine hasnt been solved using the method he used, which was to install the old 30.82 drivers. i can run NS in software mode, but not open GL or D3D. When run in software mode i cannot access the right click menu ingame cause its all in the top left corner and all the options are stacked on top of each other. when i pick d3d or GL i get the server message then nothing happens. i am not taken into the game, im left in the console. Can somebody plz help me cause i wanna play

hey bud, I had this exact same problem with my geForce 3 ti 200 128 mb's on windows xp. I run on a 512 ddr pc2700 and an athlon xp 2.0ghz.

Anyway, use the disc that came with your video card. Install the drivers off of it. Windows will give you some crap bout them not being signed by Microsoft or something, but it's ok. And Mine runs really good. 60 fps at 1600x1200 res.

I'm also having trouble with my Geforce 3. I'm using the 43.45 drivers.

I get a nice 85 FPS when first starting in a game (max for my monitor, but I've just changed it to 120HZ), but as the match progresses, I find it dropping. It'll drop from 85 to about 50-60 after 10 minutes in the match. I haven't tried on 100 FPS yet, but I presume it'll be the same. Is there any reason for this?

Also, I can't find the VSYNC setting on my Geforce 3 display menu. Help?

    Thanks in advance.

did you uninstall the previous drivers first? because that will cause a major confliction like that. I know from experience :-D also. If you had any other kind of card in there before...like an ati or any kind of PCI card. Make sure you uninstall ALL of the software from it, and check your system bios to make sure that AGP is your primary display adapter. On some motherboards, even though it's set to PCI it will detect and run AGP cards. Just give it a check

Are you running the same card as I am? GeForce 3 ti 200 128 mb

IT'S A GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY!!!! THEY'VE TAKEN OVER INVIDIA AND SWORN TO ANNOY ALL WHO HAVE NOT SPENT MASSIVE $$$ ON THE NEW FX!!!!! heh heh That is really f'd up though. Go into your Sierra/half-life/ns folder and run through the config file make sure there isn't something goofy in there. I know way back when, when I first installed DoD 2.1 there was something really goofy going on, and i had to change the poly size in the config file. It was all messed up. But i was on a P.O.S. ATI back then

Sometimes if a driver is not WHQL or WDM certified, it doesn't come with OpenGL support, try downloading the official drivers from nvidia.com and see if that fixes it, that's the only solution I can give you.
