Onos Question

Guys,


I have been playing NS for about three months now. I have played proficiently in all classes except the ONOS. Here recently I've been trying it out with this brute and I've been very successful. (Hell who wouldn't playing that guy?) But I do have a question. I overheard some people talking on how the onos can heal himself during a charge??? Is there any truth in that? I was just curious as to if there is any facts regarding this at all.

Also, there have been talks with the new 1.1 release that when the onos ingests a marine (as it is one of his new upcomming moves) while the marine's health slowly decreases will this add any to the onos's health?

I apologize if I am brushing on a topic that has been previously discussed but I have not seen one yet. As you can see I'm not an avid poster. I usually come here and browse the forums for information. Thanks for any and all replies!

    No an onos can't heal himself with charge if he doesn't have regeneration.

    Why would I want to revise this post?

    Thanks for the answer Firestorm. Now another question. Even lvl 3 regeneration, does the onos somehow enhance this feature where he heals quicker? The reason why I ask this is because now I wonder if those two who were talking about this were trying out an exploit or perhaps something similar to that. Thanks again.

    furthermore...

    Onos cant heal themselves faster/better/by nature
    other than using normal regeneration m8.

    there was a bug before 1.04 that let you get more than one upgrade in a given catagory, so it would allow you to have cara+regen at the same time......maybe this is what they were talking bout, but again it was patched with 1.04

    Why don't you do two things?
    1) Quit clogging up the forums with your pointless messages.
    2) Learn to read. That message isn't long at all.

    I think ThinG has the Onos regeneration thing down pat.

    Regen heals at ~10% of your total hp per tick I think... so skulks regen at 7/tick, fades at 20/tick, onos at 50/tick.... So all classes will go from 1hp to full hps in the same amount of time.
