That's right up there with people saying that there was not going to be an HL2, TF2, or CS2. The only way that would happen is because the guys at Valve (or Blizzard) just felt like they'd made enough money and didn't want an additional 300 million dollars. You know, a perfectly natural reaction. Just the sales of SC in south korea ALONE is worth about $500,000,000...

No, they are not trying to kill Starcraft, they're trying to make a game that will pique the interest of those people who played Starcraft, want a fun game, and own a console. And where did you hear this gossip? A friend's friend's father who works with someone who knows someone who knows a guy who knows a guy who works for Blizzard?

Or more accurately to this case: that there WAS a half-life 2, and Valve just didn't want to make it anymore so they made it buggy on purpose to kill the entire franchise... heh.
I can't wait till the semester is over so we can move on to Economic Suicide 10<b>2</b> ^_^

I second that, as I hated Starcraft, but I like the setting of the franchise, so I'm eagerly awaiting Ghost so i can have some enjoyable SC stuffs. :)
