Dear Ollj,

Next time you give information, please make sure:

1) You properly describe the problem and your given solution.
2) Your solution works.

Both of which you managed to avoid in this post. Thankyou.

Yours Truly,

Fam

Where do you copy your map to after compile, and do you run the map in NS, or just via the normal HL LAN game?

I save it in the HL\Valve\Map..... and i run it with HL....
cause the ting im making isent a whole map... just the room for one and so there isent any use for hives, commandchairs and readyrooms

If you are using fade models, you will either need to run it in NS, and have the map in the NS directory, or you will need to copy the fade model to the valve/models/player/alien4/ directory (I think thats the correct path). However, I suggest you do the former, its much easier to test NS maps in NS, especially because NS has env_gamma support, whereas HL does not.

Hope that helps, good luck with your map.

Put an info_mapinfo entity in your map somewhere. That should make it appear on the list.

Either that, or load your map in the NS console, by typing "map thenameofyourmap" (without the quotes around it).
