<div class="IPBDescription">Im still kicking...</div> Alright folks, I had nothing to do except keep getting owned on all NS-servers, so I started making this little crosshair-pack.
I hope you enjoy it.
Some users may request ingame screenshots, to get a view of size, transparency, etc etc. The blue color is as transparent in a former post made by me ( see: <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=29891' target='_blank'>Marine Crosshair</a> ). The size actually depends on what resolution you use ingame. Larger resolution = smaller crosshair.

Trust me panaka, they look good ingame <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Well at least the pistol and lmg. I haven't seen the others yet <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
lets just sat u wont be needing any other crosshair set until 1.1 ^^
As was mentioned: you won't need any other crosshairs than these! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I like playing around with sprites and other graphics. I am also a mapper and I am working on a map, which I will post a preview off when the progress is better. Well, time to knife some Onos...
*Hands you (ADD PACK UP [+10])*
Use this on you're map and it'll be in my pack in no time.
So Zyndrome can you make that "box" a bit smaller for those weapons ??
Or maybe i get used to them. My previous xhairs were pretty small, so that's why they might look odd.
Anyway here is couple pics for those who wanted to see what they look like ingame <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
(damm, i didn't took a screenie when i had welder, but the box size is the same as hmg, only the middle part of it is different)
You play NS in D3D <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Oh my gosh
Why not OpenGL?
EDIT:
Hmmm I don't know what's wrong. My suggestion is to run the game in OpenGL (its faster than Direct3D, no doubt)
When the target fills up the entire circle, pull the trigger.
100% guaranteed hit. (No responsebility taken for lag)

Yes, it reminds me of my own shotgun crosshair. Odd.
There is only one thing which bothers me. The box at the welder.
Can you please remove it, so there will be only that middle part ?
Then that pack is going to be perfect. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
how do i install them, i put them into my sprites folder.. and nothing.
--btw they look great
Well, no <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
That box doesn't fit to welder. It is good with hmg, because that weapon is so unaccurate and you can see how big area those bullets spreads, but welder doesn't shoot anything, so IMO that box isn't needed. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
but after 30 minutes of playing i got ****, why ?
because the hmg xhair isn't exactly in the center <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
its going a bit on the left, i know im **** very hard in the head but it **** me a bit <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

You have to put 'em in the x:/sierra/half-life/ns/sprites folder.
When you paste them in there, it will ask that do you want to overwrite to old sprite files.
Click "yes to all" and join in a game. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Huh? No, they are exactly in the middle. I use a plugin called "Corrective Dead Center" which displays the exact center of the image by drawing a red cross. It has just 1 pixel inaccuracy. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
And to Mr.Freak: When I play NS and use the welder with my crosshair-pack, I hardly notice the "box". Because it doesn't shoot doesn't mean "yo! it need no boxes!".
And to all of you that doesn't know how to install them: I have included a ReadMe.txt in the file, with install instructions. Read that first before asking about help here.
