A Question... About Regular Posters....

<div class="IPBDescription">From a regular poster.</div> Where did this <b>anal</b> use of "Jesus, use the search!!!111" come from? Fine, in the S&I forum, that may be a good idea, because a lot of threads are repeats. Fine, a lot of threads get repeated on page 1 sometimes, and that's annoying, but generally doesn't get out of hand.
But if <b>every single person</b> is going to have to come up with a completely original comment for the forum, then this community is going <b>TO DIE.</b>
Get this elite attitude out of here. Now. Before it kills the game.
I apologize in advance to the mods, because I'm fairly sure someone will flame for this and it'll all go wrong. But I'm trying to make a point. Help the community, not slap down people because they didn't play during beta 0.000001, and Flayra was still a foetus. And the reason I posted this? Because <b>I do</b> post regularily, so I can't be slapped down with the exact same thing. (Well, I can, but I'm just going to ignore them.)

Comments
some go as far as saying
"search"
and that is all the content in the post, irritating. some people need to relax and not get so worked up about things.
[OFF-TOPIC]
Could you guys not use "S&I" for the ideas forum s:p. It's rather confusing. I always think you're talking about the Science and Industry forums (link to S&I site in my sig s;) )
If you do see something which has been discussed to death/violated the faq either ignore it or calmly say "Sorry, but this has been discussed a lot and furthur posts are un-nessassary. Please consult the FAQ and/or use the search function". New comers to the forums will feel much more welcome this way.
Well if you use the search function from up right corner, it doesn't work very good, but if you try that search from down right, it works much better. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I keep getting that page cannot be displayed message from that upper search function.
it saddens me because it goes counter intuitive to a forum, turning it into a mindless FAQ.
OMG USE SEARCH!!!! N00b!!!!

search doenst work for me though :/
I can pretty much say that all new users to this forum are using the top search instead of the bottom search. Not only that, there is no sticky explaining this.
Anyaways, I also agree that some posts can re-appear. You've got nothing constructive to add, just stay out and that post will die soon enough.
Pardon?
If the topic is worthwhile, comments will get added and the discussion continues. If the topic is not worthwhile then it will die. If you dont want to read about some suggestion then dont click on the dang title.

You know like chubawka, Waahh! Rwaa! Raaa..
Until there's a better solution, I suggest those of you who are ranting about "use the search" posters take it upon yourselves to answer every redundant and rehashed thread that appears with a nice, friendly post about how the particular subject has been brought up countless times before, and don't forget to include what the consensus was. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
I don't particularly like harsh posts that demand someone new to an idea or to the forums go do a search either, but if you feel so strongly about it, do something about it, rather than waste time ranting about it.

Hey slipknot maybe unimaginative, uncoordinated, repetitive, and loud, but it is certainly not music!
Nobody likes to come along to the forum about a game and just be told over & over to either 'Search n00b' or 'RTFM'
Add to the fact all the post count mod suckers are just upping their oh-so-important count just to say 'Search' even if it's been said 60 times already makes it worse.
If it's been discussed to death, say so. Add what was the general consensus was <b>if you know it</b>. Maybe suggest the keywords the newguy could use to look it up. But no-one should lay into anyone else.
Necroposting is not a problem if you have a fresh outlook or idea to add, that would sway the consensus reached in the prior post.
Necroposting just to say 'tH15 \^/0uL|) r0><><orz j00!!!11!!' or something to the same effect, just to revive the dead thread to the front page, usually is not condoned, and the forum-users' rebuttal is usually harsh.. not for necroposting, but necroposting *pointlessly*.
