<div class="IPBDescription">exposing the truth</div> Firstly, I’ll begin with a simple preface. This is immature, petty and juvenile. I’m doing it anyway, b/c I feel like it.
Secondly: I have nothing against voogru, or the vast majority of the players on “his”(more on why I say “his” later). I have great respect for voogru, as I am learning c++, and know how hard the damn language is.
Thirdly: This is long. Don’t post if you don’t read.
And now, to begin, with what happened to me on them.
I found the servers a few months ago, saw the medarmories and givers, thought it was cool and started to play. I played for a while, generally having a good time, until I get llamaed, for “explicit horrible language.” Aside from that sounding like something a kindergarten teacher says when little kids try out swear words, I was admittedly violating the rules. I apoligize, get unllamaed, no big deal. I’m thinking how cool king is, that he lets you off with just an apology, whatever. I continue playing, notice people like me coming onto the forums stating that they were llaamed for no reason etc etc. Much the same as I did. That all gets resolved, but I’m wondering about the adminship et al. The next incident is simple. I am commanding, as I often do, and it’s ns_nothing. We take silo and cargo, and build up. This is all pre-upgraded turrets, but I figure that 4 turrets should suffice. The aliens are, as they should be, desprate, so they rush cargo, raping the 4 turrets.
The team rallies again, takes it. I place 6 turrets. It is rushed and taken down. The team rallies YET AGAIN (thanks to whoever was on that team), takes cargo and I place a tf and 10 turrets, along with a phase. I have jps at this time, and the frantic doling out of jps while monitoring the various “Your base is under attack” signals et al, an admin (Snark) says something about my having too many turrets. Someone else (murta) says 8 per tf, so I drop another tf. Within seconds I’ve been ejected from the CC, for “turret spamming” and next thing I know, I am flying around with lightening coming out of my ****. I explain it on the forums, get flamed by landshark, the resident brownnoser who of late has done nothing but post **** little pictures involving llamas. I just don’t play on that server, until the list is reset.
The third so called offense is on caged. We’re wrapping up the game, and I get llamaed and then later permbanned for mine spamming, when I accidently place down 6 packs, which I then tell the team to take to the hive. I hit the wrong hotkey. Explained it, but to no avail.
Enough about me. Let’s discuss other people’s situations.
King kahuna acts like a slack-jawed texas yokel going out hunting, banning anyone that puts a foot out of line, and then bragging about it on the forums, where 3 members post homoriffic “pwned” and “bye bye llama” pictures. In one of those threads, and admin, PhenANAm0l(deliberate testing) admits she as been abusing admin. Noone so much as GLANCES at her comment, and everyone just continues on what they are doing.
King also tends to imprison voogru.
King is ~40 yrs old, supposedly really rich etc. He goes and TAKES THE SERVERS DOWN BECAUSE VOOGRU REMOVES ADMIN CHEATS.
KK incident one.
Then, prodigy of modns.org fame posts about this. King flames him on these very forums, and then HE GOES TO MODNS.ORG AND MAKES A NAME PRODIGYISAPUSSY and SPAMS the **** forum. This is something to be expected from someone like me, a teenager, not a 40 year old “man”.
Third incident. King accepts donations in voogru’s name (saying donate to voogru.com) and then takes the money for himself. Yes running servers IS expensive, but for gods sake voogru gets 0$$??? Voogru ritefully complained, and then King, in a fit of sanity (by god how he hates those) finally gives voogru $50, to SUYF.
Fourth incident(not in chronological order)
King comes up with a set of rules that bans such horrible things as “explicit horrible language” (remember mrs smith, from the first grade?), turret spam (turret spam == lose!!) and even MEDPACK SPAMMING, for gods sake. To make matters worse, these rules are said completely ambiguously. He never stated obvious limits, leaving it to his mile long trail of brown-nosers to admin the servers.
To mods of the forum: Do whatever you want with this. It is flameish, so I could see why you would delete it.

Personally I don't play there after several unexplained disconnects and such. Too many other good servers to play on to waste time on 1-2 lame ones.
Guess what, King is making bank off of Voogru's servers, but as more money comes in, more servers go up. He has gone from having 1 server to 3. Let alone he has payed for new Ladder software, ladder forums, and there is the voogru.com forums.
Your beef is with Voogru.com, not with n-s.org. <span style='color:yellow'>Everyone tell Papa to F.O. and take his problems up with King. </span>
close this thread and walk away, we at voogru are not lame, but we are all peeps with our own opinions. Your more than welcome to come check us out, there are the occasional LLAMMA and hackers, but we do try our very best to help newbies. Although some comm named G***m***** would mouth you all the way from marine spawn to get that vent RT up while 7 skulks are coming for you,...its all good. Just follow t3h rules, they're in english just take time to read them which takes like a minutes or less, and remember to have t3h FUN!
