i played a game of ns on CHI MAYHEM a little bit ago, and there was the issue of a marine that was invincible. no admin took notice at first, but then when a person gets seven knife kills on an entire alien team and proceeds to knock down our rt's in one hit, we began to worry. Accompanied to this, hence the reference to charge, is the onos' sound of charge being activated.
after much complaining/moaning, one admin finally took the initiative to spectate and see this person's behavior firsthand. one demo and a ban later, he rejoined to state that the person had in fact been cheating. because my computer doesn't record demos properly, you will need to get this demo from neo ghost, an admin of CHI MAYHEM. Many others were on at the time, including azreal and myself.
this reminds me completely of the leap exploit, except it works for marines and isn't dependant upon the number of hives. i believe a look through the chi mayhem logs may be revealing.
this event occured around 11:00 PM Central Time, April 20, 2003 and was commited by someone named pantsman. currently trying to track down his ip & wonID to ban him on my server as well.
hope this gets conformation and at least helps increase awareness of this exploit.

i would like to see the demo as well
you might need to download ns_cilrais_1229 (even though the demo is on eclipse). The exploit is VERY clear.
Sorry I didn't believe you, guess you were right.
Apparently someone was using it to take down resource towers when they thought noone was watching. He kept saying he saw this guy take one down in about 2 seconds from full health. None of us believed him.
I'll be on the lookout from now on.
