<div class="IPBDescription">onos getting upgrade got raped</div> i joined a server in which the marines were losing and the aliens already had 3 hives, i picked up a stray HMG and wasted 1 fade, i was injured

but still i trekked to their hive, i saw this onos, and i looked at my ammo, i only had 80 ammo and no spare, i didnt wanna start anything since i

knew i couldnt kill that onos head-on, i was just about to leave him alone when i saw him *gest* to get an upgrade, then as i proceeded to

attack this "egg" i thought to myself, "OMG WHAT IF THE ONOS EGG IS MUCH HARDER THAN NORMAL EGGS", but surprisingly, an onos egg is just

as tough as a normal egg, it popped almost instantly! i was laughing so hard i couldnt shoot straight for minutes <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tiny.gif'>

what's just as funny is being a 'rine, hearing the evolve sounds and finding the egg and shooting it... but... it fully evolves and a huge onos appears in front of you..."waiting in line to respawn"

Yeah, i've had both of them happen to me. Its really funny when a marine decides to knife the egg, and a big nasty fade pops out after a few seconds...makes him curse himself that he didnt shoot.

I made a few Onos Omlets before, but I had an even better time finding the 0-hive gorg thats trying to save up for a new hive gest to get an upgrade and frying him on the spot. I dont think the aliens would have won that one anyway.

Yestarday i was playing ns_eclipse and i was outside the eclipse hive, when i heard that someone evolved to fade.
Then i heard next *roarrr* sound when he took carapace and when he gestated for adrealine i rushed in there and emptied my lmg at him <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

So I'm a Skulk in a vent with enough space to evolve and you can see Marines go by. Stupid me I evolve right in front of the opening, when a Marine walks by. "Guess this is the end" I think while I watch him through the pink membrane of my egg. Soon after he opens fire wasting my 54 res. After killing me he says, "I didn't even see you until you moved your mouse." <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>

heh, i think it's funniest when i see an egg and start firing, only to: 1. have a fade come up from behind me and make me cry or 2. get webbed and watch the egg turn into something nasty and just destroy me... its funny when you kill'em too... but i like laffing at myself sometimes, but only when i have enough self esteem heh

My God, this is one of the funniest threads I've read in a while! LOL. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read the "Fade Sponge of Doom" post. Anyway, back on topic, best one to happen to me was early in a game on ns_hera I managed to sneak into their base. I took quite a bit of damage getting there but somehow survived and was forgotten about. I was hiding behind the pillar in the corner when I saw we got dc's up. So, I decided to get regen to heal up. Stupid move on my part. I'm sitting there, nearly fully evolved when the comm convienty dropped a structure by me. The guy comes over to build it, pauses as he looks at me gestating, then proceeds to execute me. Many laughs by all.

Ahhh, very funny posts guys <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> Anywayz, I was fading on ns_caged at ventilation hive, my alien buddies had just taken out the base there, so I was in no danger from the opening. But, then, suddenly, I was conveniently shot to death by a marine right behind me in the vent.....meh. So that's how I learned they had jetpacks. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Aliens had two hives on ns_nothing. We had cargo and our spawn base in docking wing. This gorge kept trying to build in the marine start and I kept trying to kill him. Unforunately most of time he had a fade with him. However, this time as me (HA/HMG) and another guy (HA/HMG) went to the marine start, just the gorge was there. He ran into the hallway away from us and we slowly made our way towards the door. He came out webbing and just sat there webbing over and over where we stood. Then he typed "wait there PseudoKnight" and gestated into a skulk. I just sat there helpless as he bit me to death. Luckily my HA friend got unwebbed in time to shoot him down before he died as well. We had a good laugh and eventually killed the aliens off.

LOL! Fade Sponge of doom!
Anyway I was playing the map with Feedwater Hive (Forgot what its called) and we were pretty much owning the riens and then i see a guy come with no jp just a hmg come up to our hive. I figure i stand no chance, so i see his empty about 4 rounds into the hive and i waited for 20 seconds and no ammo.
So i thought <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'> but then i see we have movement up so i start gesting and guess what i fall through the hive and get welded <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>.

Man I wish I had such an experience.. I found an egg, I started knifing, it takes <i>forever</i>, out pops a *VERY* **** onos who gores me <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

On the map eclipse, the marines were finishing off the last maintainance hive. We had tons of resources but no place to spend them. I decided to make a last run for the marine base. I gestated into a gorge right next to the Command seat. Some marines respawned but just passed by <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>. When i completed evolving, i spammed the base with offence chambers. Put at least one OC on each of the 4! infantry portals. All 8 offence chambers eventually got up and running, killing all marines and buildings that spawned or entered the base. The marines didnt even tried to kill me. they were too busy typing: "lol!" etc. By this time, the last hive died and the countdown started. I was unable to build DC because we had movement, and died <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>
