Sc Marine V1.2 Reskin

This is my first reskin EVER but I have been using PS for a long time. Well I am working on a reskin for the version 1.2 SC marine model/skinmesh(the first mesh was just horrible). Anyway I am still working on parts of it and this is what I have done so far.

If you have any suggestions for how I can make it better I will listen. I have completely redone the sholder pads, helmet, chest panel and part of the legs. The rest is still part of the original skin that I have recoloured just to see what it would look like because I am not finished.

    good job i was hoping somone would make a skin thats not white or black lol they are my least fav colors on models

    you cant see black things and white things stand out to much

    Very Good, the addition of contrasting colors does the model more justice, rather than before, the black just made everything blend in, not allowing the player to really see the detail.

    BTW, When released, make sure the model with the helmet visor down is added too ;p

    Great work, the yellow bits looks much more like metal than the original. Please keep going, this looks like its going to be an awesome skin.

    PS: if i may, id like to request a teal color instead (or as well as) of the yellow. This serves two purposes, 1: Teal is Raynor's color, and since i did play through the campaign, ive come to associate teal as the 'marine color'. 2: Teal would imitate NS's default marine color.

    It looked more sea green to me. Anyway, I think it should be sea green and red.

    When I make the other skin for it so there is two, it will just be a recolour of this one. So you guys vote what colours you want to see and the one that wins I will do it.

    Ok so that is two for green one and two for blue..

    Anyways besides colour is there anything I should fix or change?

    What would be a great idea is to include the bitmaps in the zip with the model. So we can choose which ones we want to use. Mix and match for which two we want to show up in game.

    Well I will only be doing the two skins for now because I only really had yesturday and today to work on it for the most part. After this long weekend I will only have a short time each day to get stuff done on them. SO there will only be the two for now but if people really like them I will do more skins and release them as .bmp so people can mix and match. Also if anyone has any tags they want to see just post it in here.

    I agree, Delarosa, I would <b>love</b> to see a NS green skin. It would go with the default NS structures/weapons/enviroments so much better, rather than sticking out like a sore thumb when your Marine model is red, and everything is green...

    Malambis: Perfect, just make the green a darker color, yours is too bright, but other than that, the placement of the green, insignia, etc is great.
