This will eventually be a hive, one of the fission reactors. Normal gamma is 1.8, the gamma has been enhanced to about 1.5 on these pics.

wow, n@rby, that really is amazing. i -love- the blend of lighting and the emphasis on vertical height change that you hardly ever see in level design.

    im loving it already.

maybe change the texture of those green lights just a little bit to a deeper green (just a little bit) and it will be perfect in my opinion.

w0w! I would try to offer something to help make the room better, but I cant.  I have been staring at these for about five mins -- and it just seems, perfect.  You could do what black wolf said -- but it is not neccessary.

The architecture looks great, along with the textures. It seems too dark though. I think you should increase the light given from each light and decrease the amount of lights there so you can create more shadows, instead of it all being a shadow. My only real problem is that there is three different colors of light. I think you should get rid of the red lights, and just stick with the orange and green combination.

Edit: I withdraw my statement of "it seems too dark". The glare on my monitor made them look extremely dark. Sorry about that.

Looking quite nice, I am really liking the heavy industrial feel to it. The height factor is really nicely done, and the room is just packed with detail. The lighting is varied breaking it up, and I like the greeness of the room, not seen too often.
For bad stuff, um, on the first shot the back wall texture makes it looks a little bland with all the repeating (this is pushing it tho), otherwise keep it up!

Ah, I'm impressed of how you make even symetrical architecture so interesting. I wish I could help you out by giving constructive critism.

Umm, this is the other not-freon map, righty?

I think i saw on some other map post that for some reason the pics make the lighting look lower than it is.

    Looks good Narby!

Your brushwork is really good! I'm wondering if maybe a little different texturing could bring out more of the detail you have structurally. You'll probably say that was the plan anyway and that this is just shots, but I had to say it anyway.

Lighting = win! I love it! Very moody without being too dark, and it really conveys the "reactor" feel. I can't wait to see the hive placement in here!
