<div class="IPBDescription">that baby needs a skin!</div> Hey
<a href='http://mapage.noos.fr/paul.nicol/preview.jpg' target='_blank'>Marine</a>
I just finished meshing my marine, 1952 polies, even outdated computers (like mine) should be able to run it without problems.
I skinmeshed it, well, if you can call that a skin <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> and it really needs a skin.
In the ZIP file you can find the 3ds model format, a preview pic, and the mesh bmp (8bit 512x512)
I know the hands area is weird but hell, i don't think there should be any problems once the skin will be applyed, but feel free to modify the mesh if you feel so (as long as you don't screw everything ;p)
I just hope you people are going to understand something in that mesh, if you want me to add some indications over it, just ask
Quality skins please!
<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'> <span style='color:red'>THE SKIN MESH IS FALSE, DOWNLOAD CANCELLED</span></span>

if you play at all <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
I need uber skinners! download, people!
Archanor, I don't think it's the right forum for this off topic.
I had my first go at scratch skinning last week, and a few reminders <i>do</i> help make the process a little less traumatic...
Also, you might want to roughly compile a model in the .mdl format ( without animations etc if they aren't done or whatever ).
That way skinners can use HLMV to check their progress quickly and easily.
Just suggestions.
Other than that, nice work.

It may look correct in MS3D/3DSMAX but once compiled it isnt the secks anymore =/
