you know, that old 8-bit system
the nintendo was a good system, not as good as the snes, but i think its better than the n64.
crystalis was fun, and so was mario 1,2, and 3, there was RIVER CITY RANSOM, that game was so kick assish, river city ransom was so much fun, run around and beat people up randomly, it was great, then you stole their lunch money!!! anyway, there was also faxandu, good game, but long, willow, easy, but fun, mega man games, some of them are fun, but i like the X series better, there was bubble bobble, fun, but weird, and all sorts of weird but fun games.
what do you think?

yeah freeze states are useful, and i have beaten FF1 a few times, good game, but the players guide square made was horrible, altho the players guide was the only reason why i played the game. you should download 2 and 3, (jap, not us)
Never got farther than level 5(water-filled level) boss... Tried a short while with an emulator but I just couldn't play without a controller.
Plus there was a nice little "cheat" to kill bosses, that didn't work with that particular boss.

has anyone played River City Ransom? that game was great!!! its better if you download the River City Brawl hack, because instead of saying "Alex lost the will to fight" it says "Alex got his **** kicked." The games purpose was for you (default Alex or "Kunio" in Japanese, but can change name) to go around, beat punks up, and steal their lunch money, then you can buy big plates, eat it, and gain stats!!! Then there was the hidden store, called "Merlin's Mystery Shop" or something like that, and you could buy the Excalibur!!! (but you didnt use it as a weapon, but it raised most of your stats to max instantly). Whats not fun about a game like that?
the 1st was ok, but i have the 2nd one, and love, i think the code for 9 lives and level select is B A B A UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT B A B A START
That game was fun!!!
flying turtle kick!!!!!
any other games that are good?
go around and beat people up, need i say more?

L13k, letter orrder
U3$$ wth!!! used or use or uses?!
T3H letter order!
bu77un good enough
d00d finally, something right
Spy vs. Spy rocks on toast.. just found a copy for the NES a couple months back. Have it on the SMS as well, have heard that the SMS version was better/longer/more of a PITA to beat.
Avoided River City Ransom, as it was pretty much just... hitting people, walking around, eating food, hitting more people. Stuff like that I can do any day.
Snake, Rattle and Roll was fun but painful in the later levels.
Metroid, everyone's favorite classic.
I'm pretty sure Excitebike was what turned me g*y, but I love it anyway.
The SMB series? Another classic, only to be equalled by Super Mario World on the SNES. (M64 outright sucked)
Double Dragon.. preferred the SMS version to the NES version.
TMNT just ticked me off. I could never make the one jump just before you find Splinter. Irritating.
Still have my copy of Final Fantasy, and I think I have my Dragon Warrior cart in there too.
Kirby's always been great, though they've been franchising him a little much, what with the animated series and multiple gameboy games.
Legend of Zelda/LOZ2 still occupy spots on my shelf. Zelda 64, on the other hand, can bite meh.
Lastly, and leastly, Battletoads almost had me slitting my wrists out of frustration. It seemed like the game was playing itself, and didn't care that I was trying to direct a character around... it didn't matter if I sat on the controller or used it acording to the booklet, Zitz STILL couldn't give a flying f*ck what I did. He'd progress a little, get killed, then move a little further. The only fun I got out of that game was in taking a hammer to it, and reducing it to chunks small enough to melt down with a cigarette lighter. I can only assume that Battletoads 2 was just as much *ss as the first one, and will avoid it lest I go into a burning rampage and torch the store.

yep, spy vs. spy was a great game, and being able to arm a water bucket over silencer-7's head would be fun.
River City Ransom is only fun becasue of the concept of the game, run around and beat people up and take there lunch money to buy food to power up!!!! What is there not to like about it besides the fact that the run around and beat people up factor is done in a lot of games? I think its funny that they get stronger by eating, i wish i could do that.
The only two sport games i like is the Nintendo World Cup, (i think its that one), my cartridge came with the V' Spike Volley Ball game (the other sport game). But Nintendo World Cup was a soocer game where you could CHEAT and be legal. Slide and Tackle and do super kick thingies that even the goalie might not get, it was great!!!!
A note to everyone: If you notice, most NES games have the same character, in Japanese this charater is called "Kunio," but in the American releases, he gets various releases, like "Alex" (RCR), "Tony" (I think its him, Nintendo World Cup), this one game never came out in the us, but u can download a hack for it called "Skin Head Fighters," but the guy is called Kunio, his original name, and he is paired with "Rikki," who is known as "Ryan" in RCR.
