Suggestion: Colored lighting accents in the bedroom area would probably work out nicely. Even if it's a red emergency light or something. It just needs more color though...
Oh, and the beds. I'm sure it was intentionally designed that way to create the shadows, but I don't like the fact that the beds don't touch the ground. Perhaps some sort of supports down there every now and then would work?

The hallways seem too small and undetailed for me.
But I really like the beds like they are saying.
But perhaps you are putting too much detail into the wrong areas of the map.
Ken wasn't talking of that: he was saying that when they beds are down,they should have a support at the end.
I like the way they are now btw.

You dont call those hallways?
Scale back the floor texture. I usually go with .75 for that texture in tighter areas.
Also I'm not too sure about the texture transition from the corridor to the dorm. It just lacks continuum.
Otherwise, it all looks good!

these sections that pinky calls "hallways".. seems to me that it is in fact a circulair (spelling?) room with a pillar in the middle i.e a little corridor that just goes round and round and round.
U know what I'd luh to see in that room?.. a shower section.. just a room, pretty empty, a few showers (one dripping, for atmosphere) and maybe extend a little, put a large table with seatings (think alien II) with lights above. then you would've made my day.

6 Pics of some changes that I made. Of note, there is the broken up beds, dirtied textures and the all important subtle alien vent that lets the little critters get behind those marine suckers. The vent actually is closed to begin with but falls open when pushed - stays open once pushed.
