well i did the commander hud and now here is the marine one. The problem is that it's hard coded as being transparent. Below is a pick of what it looks like, it still looks star-crafty so i use it anyway. Download is in next post

Is it really red? i like what you did but wouldnt blue be a better color? or is that just your game but not the sc marine hud?

if you're refering to the red border then yes its in the hud and thats because thats what the commander hud has and what starcraft has so thats what this has too.

i never notice a red border on starcraft hud :goes and checks: In the starcraft game there is no red anywere in the terran hud. none. so i guess the commander hud is wrong.

.. the graphics are from star-craft in the menu. im saying that at the top red isnt the best color to use because it is very unstarcraft. Also at another stand point those colors really clash. a green or blue just not red, clashes to much.

but the red isnt it the game. anywere in starcraft on the hud. so when you make a starcraft and then ad red anywere in it you clash with the original color scheem that starcraft has.

note: i have the game

example: red and grey do not mix so not only does the red clash with the starcraft hud borders but also most all of the map textures.

i ask just one thing... Show me a screen shot of any red ANYWERE in the game starcraft on the terran hud. the actual game... an in game screen shot.... of any red in the terran marine hud. the game made by blizzard. cause this is what were basing all this stuff off of right?

I believe the red appears in the menu selection screens of Starcraft. I think this looks fabulous. (:

yes coil it appers in the selection screens for single player. But never in game. or in anyother place. And o well i guess im the only one who has a prob with it so o well...

Edit: the ingame screen shot that lock and load posted shows that the red outlining of the resorces and minimap is not as bright as enforcer posted. If the ingame hud looks as lock and load posted i have no problem with it. it was the bright red in enforces orgininal screen shots that i had a problem with

If you don't like what you see, fix it or turn around.

A bit bright IMO, but that's the gammas fault not yours. Looks very nice Enf0rcer! Using now.

It's a STARCRAFT style hud. He never said it was specific to the TERRAN races in-game hud.

that screen shot looks as *is*. Believe me, if the red outlines and overall hud is transparent, u barely noticed it. Anyway, its not ur gonna spend all the time staring at the HUD, but at your crosshair.

The hud and the SC theme just makes everything look more 'complete'. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>
