<div class="IPBDescription">no logs problem</div> I tried webbed topic and find realy good info but not a solution of my problem. I put "log on" line in autoexec.cfg but my server did not make any useful logs.
-In server.cfg file I find "log off" line. Why is that?
-Should I live it alone or change it to "log on"?
-If answer is "Yes" should I leave "log on" line in autoexec.cfg file?
-In server.cfg file I also find "mp_logfile" is set to 0. Should I set it to 1?
Can I, please, have an answer how to slove this stupid problem? Must say that NS is running in LAN with 14 clients and 1 server. Kids are on my back for days for useful statistics. It would be realy nice if someone can help me with this. Then posibly I can sleep normal for a change.

Does autoexec.cfg load with a server? I thought this was just a file to load on running the game initially. I can understand it will load cvars if you are running a server from within the multiplayer menus, but does the HLDS actually run this?
Anyways, just some clarification would be appreciated,

I feel your pain brother!! But hard work got me the money to build my server. But the connection to the internet i had to tune and tweak to sqeeze 14 players onto my server. Lots of tweaking....

For now, psychostats is the best solution. HL stats is used by voogru (I think), and pebbstats is in development.

in your server.cfg
and Matt, autoexec.cfg runs once when the HLDS starts and server.cfg runs each map.... also sometimes if you put "log on" in server.cfg it may create some empty logs... but if you put it in autoexec.cfg and some admin does rcon log off and you don't know about it then you are **** <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
