TEAM: RUSH RUSH RUUUSH!
TEAM: [Bluff] (to let them know that u are going to bluff)
Global: everybody run to thus-n-such hive, quickly
Global(teammate bluffing): TEAMCHAT, U ***!
or
Global(you): d'oh!! :\
maybe not the best example, but just an idea I sorta had. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> This happens a lot in RTS games, you'll try to mislead the opponent by purposely broadcasting your intents, and then actually doing them. Sometimes me & my friends play Warcraft 3 and text-message our strats in-game to throw off hackers, and a lot of times it works. The key to defeating the strategy is to attack first and mess up whatever they were doing.
love doing this, but gotta admit it don`t always work to the best advantage.
<global.me on alien team>: Get out the comm chair i got a great strat that`ll make us win. <global.me again>: be their in a min just leave the comm chair open for a few minutes
<global, me on aliens>: drop some ammo in X position.
and always the fav!
<global, me on aliens>: Comm drop me a res HERE! <global, me on aliens>: No comm, drop me a res HERE its clear, open!! <global, me on aliens>: drop some ammo health and a res node HERE commander!
If you put (TEAM) before your name and use globalchat, it looks like the other team can see your teamchat broadcasts. Causes a bit of confusion before someone figures out what's going on.
