not bad, but I think the silencer will look quite strange ingame... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

any chance of getting a version WITHOUT the silencer?

That kinda looks like the stamped-metal version of the current LMG. I like it. And then maybe to accompany this very cheaply made gun (well it would be.. stamped metal and all..), we can give the marines cardboard armor. Or plastic. As long as it looks cheap.

My suggestion though is to take off the silencer and widen the barrel a tad. LMG doesn't fire pistol rounds.

you saying the MP 40 looks cheap? because imo, it's very sexy. The sten however, is just..... well.......... it's just fugly. The gun you hack together (or modeled) just looks crazy though. Might be quite fun for ns though.

The MP40 was cheap.. I like how it looks but it's cheap. Thompson, on the other hand.. Damn that thing is expensive.

I've always been a fan of the sten so I'm sold . . . very nice work.

thompson was well impractical, only something like 20,000 (might of been 200,000 can't remember the figures exact) of them got produce during world war 2, far outstripped in production by the greasegun.

I think it's a hackjob of a few models he's made in the past. It's a strange/cool model, but doesn't fit my playing style (NS or DoD), so unfortunately I'll have to pass.

I Like that very much, regardless of if you made it yourself. Please get it done, i'd use it for NS and DOD, it's an utter frankenstein, i love it.

I don't like how the barrel cones down like that...and the magazine on the side doesn't look right I think. I think if you could move the mag to an MP-40-like position, and 'straighten up' the coned barrel, it'd look great. And maybe loose the silencer too. =)
