Cl_parse Question

<div class="IPBDescription">Different protocols?</div> This is the error i'm getting in the console upon joing a random team:

Host_Error: CL_Parse_Version: Server is protocol 1701860131 instead of 46

What can i do to fix this?

    On the same server or a variety of servers? And was it working previously?

    I'm no longer getting error.

    Not sure what was going on exactly. I see to be ocnnecting just fine now about 50% of the time. If not, i simple restart my computer and then it will most likely work.

I've played HLDM, TFC, FLF, CS, FA - you name it, and never seen anything like this. Help ASAP would be nice because it's really a pain in the ****.

    I get this alot too. On both CD and NO CD servers. It helps to /quit and restart halflife tho. Annoying...

    I think this happens when you join a server that crashes or something stupid that happens, then you go to another server and try to join a team, this will happen. My friends and I both get this when we are running around to different servers that screw up. Yes, exiting HL and loading back up will always let you join again.

    I havn't run into this one yet.

    Try keeping alog of the servers that you get this error on. It might help some if you/we see a trend through them <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I'm getting this error too. Like 40% of the time. I join a server and get in the ready room fine, but when I try to join a team, I get booted to console and get that error.
