Anybody Fancy Trying To Set Up An Irc Channel...

<div class="IPBDescription">...for this forum?</div> I kind of picture it being a place for modellers/skinners/animators/spritemakers and the like to set themselves up. People could ask for hints and advice, share model ideas, maybe find people to collaborate with ... well, you get the idea.

However, since I have no idea how gamesnet works with regards to getting hold of bots to look afte the channel and such (I mostly use quakenet, and it makes more sense to have the channel on gamesnet instead) and I've never started a channel before, I'm not really sure how to do it myself.

    Great idea, but I also have no idea on how to make it, I could make an argentinian one in 3DGames, but will work a little slow for you guys.

    starting your own channel:

    ~ join one that nobody has already made

    "Registering a Channel" (so nobody can steal op control from you)

    ~Register Via Commands in "console" -or- follow the link on DALnet's website



    these things should be about the same for quakenet
