Apparently fishermen fear falling in the water with squids around more than they do when sharks are around. Large squids are quite agressive and if there were a school of them they could strip a man to the bone relatively quickly. Nice thought!

Man, it's really gonna suck when the world is covered in water and patrol the water to make swimming impossible.

"O'Shea said the discovery raised questions about what else was down deep in the ocean."

This is why I have an irrational fear of deep water. And fish tanks. And aquariums. I'm sure it has nothing to do with a traumatic visit to the Boston Aquarium when I was about 2 or 3 that left me running screaming down the hall to escape a rather large eel in a case full of murky green water.
