*Deletes his maphack*
I would be deeply honored and motivated to know 100,000 people are somehow illegally using my work
I got the impression from the post on the Battle.net homepage that only the accounts were deleted, not the CD keys. There were some instances of CD key disablement, but only temporarily.
Most everyone would probably agree that it is the hacks that ruined D2 entirely. With all the rampant duping, cloning, and botting, it's no wonder most every item is worthless, and you can't get nearly anything for an identified item. Maphack I feel is not quite as bad, maybe because I used to use it back when I played D2, but more so because you still have to actually work for your items, even if it is a tad quicker.
Once again, a timely response by Blizzard.
You only say that because nobody has. Trust me, when somebody rips you off, flatery is the last thing you feel. I know, I've had it happen to me. And my work is crap, so what does that tell you? Yeah, stupid ripper-offer! :P
Oh and I think Blizzard let you cheating jerks off easy. If I were in charge, you'd all be lying in a shallow grave, and even the dung beetles would be to disgusted to go near you.
But, yeah. Go Blizzard!

Well said babygirl.
I only know this because my little bro uses it. And he wonders why his account was deleted. Fortunately for him he still has his mule accoutns (including one with litterally 8 chars that have inventories full of SOJs).
I only have this to say: the EULA is right there in front of you every time you create an account.
And I think people got what the deserved. If you're gonna cheat and hack and ruin the game for others you should be punished. I actually think blizzard even went too easy on some like the dupers.
