    metal looks a little too "grainy" more like cement or stone... u might wanna do somethin about that, and maybe add some shadowing to the vegetation or whatever that is.

    Hey! Nice! I think that 3rd and floor texture may be coming in handy over here. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Great job!

    This is based off the HALLWALL set, Trunks; that's what the original texture looks like.  Change that grainyness, and then it doesn't match anymore, which then defeats the purpose.

    (The 'vegetation' is alien infestation - one of the hallmarks of the Natural Selection texture set.)  The infestation being unshadowed is for the same reason - to match the textures that are already done.

    Lemme show off my l337 paint skillz

    all right the ONLY thing that's bugging me with this texture set is the first texture: there's WAY too much tiling withing the single texture for me I circled the 5 "objects" that are repeated (I didn't circle all of them thou) perhaps if with the three big crecent stains you were to pull them out, make each one a little darker and lighter than the other and then rotate them at least 45 degreese differently from each other before putting them in it will help with that (also the far right one doesn't continue on the left, and so the entire structure doesn't tile too well)
    the very top of the texture looks like you took a siongle texture and pasted it right next to itself, expecially since there is a slight fade from light to dark (going from left to right) which is repeated again half-way through. a simple photoshop edit to make the fade last the entire texture will kill this (also the crack which is tiled there only brought that fade to my attention, so you may want to change one of those slightly)
    The two ovals that repeat just above the aformentioned cerecent pattern just out as cutNpastes to me (and now that I'm looking there, the 2nd line from the top foes this narrow expanding to big 5 times that doesn't sit too well with me.
    continuing down, the line right above the brown part has, again, very regular splotch marks on and below it that are indicative of CnP (I only circled some of the ones below) the brown stripe itself would look fine if it  weren't for a regular (slight) fading that occurs 5 or 6 times
    and finally, there's the two splotches at the bottom which jut out as CnPs- try rotating them a little bit, rotating the individual splotches which keeping their relative positions, not repeating them at a regular interval, and deleteing one (which I see you did in one spot)

    sorry if this seems like I'm tearing apart your textures, but what you have is great! <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> just, I'm trying to point out some things that will give them a professional feel

    (damn... getting dragged to all those art galleries and taking art appreciation classes with my ex is really showing through, isn't it?)

    Hope I've helped! <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    Bio- yeah, as you were typing all that out, I was fixing them.  It started with takin gout that blue patch in the infested bits, and went from there <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->  Hope they're, heh, 'more to your approval' now <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    could you make us a small hallway with the textures appied so we can see it ingame?  You can never really tell much until they go through halflife's crappy rendering engine.
