Help With The Form Settings Plz

in New Player Forum
i see all these sweet Avatar icons and i was wondering how big can they be cuz i got one thats kinda cool but it says this when i try to add it in "The file you requested to upload was greater than the limit the administrator has set for your group."

ok this raise 2 qustions
1st what is the file size limit ?
2nd if better groups have higher file sizes how do i get to these groups ?

i just reg with this form today
and the file size im looking at is (3,469 bytes) or little higher then that

    The max file size to upload your own Avatar is 2048 bytes. If you have your avatar hosted at someone else's website there is no limit.

    It is a board-wide setting for all users.

    I think the forum might have 'issues' at the moment with avatars. I had a hell of a time getting mine on, it wouldn't accept it for ages.

    Dunno why.
