    I was wanting to get together a LORD telnet server for NS peeps, but nobody was interested. :(

    I'd like to see a full 3d (ala freelancer) version of Tradewars too...

    erm... not sure if it's the same thing, but I used to play Archmage.

    I will never play that game again, <b>EVER</b>.

    The only other text game I've played in order to stop that nagging voice that keeps saying, "kids these days, all for graphics over gameplay", is "A Mind Forever Voyaging" - way before I was born it came...

    I used to play one called Animud with some friends of mine. Made a character that was an Elven Thief, and the name stuck. Been years since I've played another mud or text game though.

    I sort of played Medievia for a while... although I never gave them money so I never got really serious about it. More socialization than anything else. I play a little RP mud called Realms of Discordia (www.realmsofdiscordia.com) that's slowly dying, and my friend and I are going about writing our own mud.

    I used to run one, actually. It was such a knockoff of the 7th guest, but... heh heh. It was a pennmush, kept it up for a few months till I just got tired of it. Well, that and neverwinter nights came out and the toolset for that was a billion times cooler than being a god on a pennmush server <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I run a PW NWN server with a Harry Potter theme. It's down now while I add to it, but if any of you ever get the urge, look up Harry Potter under Role Play.
