The marines seem to be losing more often
Maybe even MORE often than the period of time in which Fades were only 44 rez and JPs sucked (forgot version #)
It jus pisses me. We have plenty of good/ok comms (me included) but it seems that marines lack the skill in general. Either that or the aliens are coming up with ways to counter the JP/HMG rush (building OCs to the ceiling in small corridors)
We even lost a 4(marines) vs. 2 game to this 1 **** fade that was still wandering around after I reduced them to 1 hive (I guess everybody else was at base and didnt give me any warning while I was pumping shots at hives ! )
And if anybody has any obvious skulking tips, tell me. I still can't figure out how I end up with 2-15 while everybody else is like 9-12 or 11-10 just from skulking kills.

Make sure the marines don't see you until you've already bitten their legs off.
If you and a marine see each other at opposite ends of a long hallway, you're doing something wrong. If the first glimpse you get of the marine is the top of his head as he runs under you obliviously, you're doing something right.
So ur one of those guys that rushes the marine base at start and then infront of their door chickens out and wait for the rest to go in first... (some call this teamwork )
That reason is that the aliens capability for teamwork does not depend on 1 person.
For marines, if the comm doesn't notice something is under attack (and its not a hotly contested area, so no marines are nearby) then NO marine knows its under attack. On the alien side, everyone on the teams is AUTOMATICALLY informed thanks to the hive mind.
I think that if the computer system informed marines (using a different colored waypoint) of buildings under attack/marines under attack, the teamwork would be improved. Also, this wouldn't effect clanplay as there the comm is just as effecient as the hive mind.
Second, i think that spawning in marines with more ammo, even full ammo, would help. It would get rid of armory humping when things are urgent, and would allow the marine team to respond quicker.
maybe i just play with good teamates but i dont see very many alien wins at all.

a comm can even be better then the hive mind and alarm rines even b4 aliens attack, so teamwork on marine side could easily be better then on alien side, also rines can go stealth (with motin tracking) wich is for the aliens a lot harder since they have to scout (and parasite) first, but then again a hidden alien could observe all the rines wich makes them parasited for the rest, where rines will have to do with only moving aliens (and hives). So teamwork is pretty balanced, but in public games the small things usually (at start) do the work... (u probly knew all this of course, but i just had to say it )
Also u say that u want marines to spawn with full ammo, but this is very bad, it slows them down too much and in times speed is needed u cant get rid of ur ammo efficiently, of course u can shoot, but that makes sound and u will have to reload. But then again, it would create different tactics, maybe something for a different gametype.

and being evasive/running on walls and ceilings never hurt (unless you fall a distance that makes you take damage, but I'm sure we know that falling off high spaces can hurt)

sarcasme or have u never played ns_missilecommand and ns_ninjafall?
Whenever I comm, and I have 6-7 regulars under my belt to command, we always win.
The Marines...are only as good as thier commander....and a commander...is only as good as his marines.
Yes it's a catch 22...why...because it's true. Without a good commander you will probably lose...and if your team doesn't work together at all, no matter what you give them, tell them...do...you will probably lose. I've had many a game with 1-3 star players who follow all orders and are excellent vetern troops. But they can't take on all the aliens by themselves no matter how much I spam med packs. There has to be teamwork and the problem is people just don't always work together. Sometimes they do...most times they don't.
Next part...most games are easier to win for marines on larger servers...why you ask? there's a horde of aliens out there...they are all over. Easy...unless they bottle you in your spawn or keep you from getting at least one hive, which they might. The aliens will take longer to get res...where as you get a constant supply...if you have a good comm then you'll have all the upgrades you'll need to push the aliens aside.
i hope the my toughts will be usefull for the marines.(i'm NS undivided)
i think the 'rines comm should consider tactics to counter a kharaa force getting two hives or the 'rines must learn how to deal with fades. a marines live is expandable but a dead fade combined with destruction of kharaa res towers can be quite a slowdown for that player. don't forget to get into kharaa territory and take out res towers to slow fades down, try to get control of rooms and corridors the aliens must pass trough and build TFs there. the original hive is undefended when thy are building the second, siege it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR KHARAA AS MARINES ARE RES TOWERS, DESTROY YOUR ENEMYS TOWERS OFTEN.
also the kharaa won't build defenses for their original hive before the marines have failed to destroy it or their second hive is secured
Why?
People were going comm, dropping a jp or whatever then ramboing off. No one stayed in the chair for more than about a minute. Fortunately I only joined at the end, so it was over quickly

Yes, exactly.
When there are no people in the server that I like and play with a lot, I usually head straight for the "Join Aliens" door. Because chances are if I don't know them, they're stupid and don't know how to play the game.
Sounds arrogant, but sadly with the majority of people that play Half-Life, it's true.
Then they spent all this time calmly turret farming while aliens grab all the res nodes uncontested, and when marines move to 2nd hive aliens give them hell, meanwhile with all the res flow coming in the gorge sets up walls everywhere then the hive then marines break down then gg.
