Starcraft Full Conversion Pack?

<div class="IPBDescription">I see random SC models...</div> Is anyone putting together a Starcraft Full Conversion Pack? With weapon models, player models, sounds, structures, etc? I've seen single models all around the forums, but I haven't seen a pack being put together. Is anyone working on one?

I was on the scene back in the days of CS where there were literally BILLIONS of models and the community was ignorant of over half of them. There WAS a lot more to work with so you could pull different themes and varietys but still surprise people with things they have probably never seen before.
Me and Kittens did CS packs like this a lot for CS, only differences are 1) the ammount of material to work with dwarves what is out for NS now and 2) the CS community openly accepted and loved every pack we created. Kittens did a good job on that thing and I'm shocked that you ripped him apart without mercy... one of his hosts even turned on him.
So it will probably take a lot of convincing to get anyone like me or Kittens to do another pack.
Repeatedly had he gone ahead and taken other people's work without crediting it until someone said "Hey! That's mine!". Not to mention the incessant jumping into other threads all over the forum, touting this new 'Ultimate Pack" that was really just a models, sounds, and sprites folder packed into a zip.
IMO that's not a pack. Vecdran's Daemon Elite was a pack. Mercatorn's Starcraft sound conversion was a pack. Cpl. Wider's Swedish Marines is a pack in the works.
Yes, Kitten's pack was hampered by a lack of material, but how can it be his pack if the only work he did was a hastily put together credits screen and a zip? That little effort put behind a showcase of such high quality models really seems to do little than insult the creators. I personally think Kitten's pack was a good idea, and good for the community. It shouldn't have gotten as much negative criticism as it got. But the way he went about doing so, and the execution, was a disaster.
Putting together a pack is hard, not this moment the material is so dry but packers have always existed and they will continue, like it or not. Kittins did NOTHING wrong, he gave everyone credit where it was deserved, no bad files and supplied people with multiple hosts, even though delarose **** him over by releasing off-sync (note: thats **** !)
No offence intended or implying that a specific person made a mistake.
but not half as hard as making the actual contents. fair enough, people will always zip things up and make a nice installer, but don't expect the same credit that the people who make the original models/skins/sprites/sounds do.

I felt that commander Kittens was pumping up the value of his work more than it deserverd...so i made a thread for "his pack" (some of my work was in there too you know!) and released the thing as a whole, some 15 minutes before he wanted me to...

my reasoning:
some of my work, the majority of my webspace, his name... that's normal procedure
i've taken the pack down, due to the flame wars that have ensued... and if your hosting the pack, take out my sprites...
if people want to get all **** about what i did, go for it, i had MY money (web hosts aren't free) invested in the pack.
i might be acting like a brat, but i'de like forget about that pack and everything associated with it.
ps. next time, please spell my name right
