    Cool boot!
    I dont care about how many polys you use! The more the better if you use them effective!

    Keep up the good work... locking forward to see the rest of the model comming together.

    (Morrowind uses about 4500-7000 ploys (plus head) but in a worthless way. If you can use 6000-10000 polys in a good way this model gonna be godlike!!!! who cares about FPS when you get tis beauty <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )

    I'm getting really tired of you people criticizing the work of others. Everyone here needs to shape up, or I'm shipping out. People don't spend hours of their time putting effort into something, to have you casually stroll on the forums and start knocking them. Shut the **** up. Most of you are probably young-uns, but that's no excuse for this type of behaviour. You have to understand that we modellers do what we do by choice, and not to appease your whim. I'm a hair thickness away from picking up everything I've done so far, and taking it somewhere else. It might be a small minority of the people here that bother me, but I don't believe they deserve to use any of my work, and I'm frankly repulsed by the idea of allowing them to use any of my work.

    Keep working on it Delarosa. Modelling this can be a real challenge, but I find working on irregular shapes is the best way to sharpen your skill. I learned a lot from working on my SC marine model, and my boot looks something similar to that. I didn't use nearly the same number of polys, but I'm sure there are places you can chop off a few. If you need any insight, done hesitate to ask.

    Maby its because this boot is better than your work or whatever your threads are about. Anyway just stop criticizing poples work "especially when its good".
    you got to start somewhere on the model and why not the boot. As far as I understood this model isnt a boot replacement but a whole new model.

    And it is an exciting tread cuz both the design and what we have seen of the model so far holds very high quality.

    Keep up the good work!

    And all you negative **** out there SUYF! <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i did some math last night (not a good idea at 5 am)

    500 each side, and 1-200 to connect each side, that makes it 1200poly PER BOOT.

    that's just a few polys less than hudson high poly, the WHOLE thing, and i'm just doinmg from the knee down

    i'ma hafta simplify mt boot.... i know that i used alot of poly on the tread, i modeled where i could have used a skin... but you guys wanted high poly, so i stacked them up.

    and no, i'm not making the chick up top, i'm making the boot...if somone wants to finish the model, go for it, i'll send you everything that i got, but without a reference that's better than that girl, i won't make the rest of her...i like modeling, just not that much
