<div class="IPBDescription">What they do?</div>When welding as a marine, do the welders(instruments) run on infinite power or is it batteries? well because , welding a door shut or cutting one open and batteries run dead is a bad thing..............yes or no?

And yes I'm well aware that some run on gas , electricity , are plasma archs and such...............but for the game , I am curious.

    currently, then have no ammo supply - IE: they never run out.

    However, all things are subject to change.

    No current ammo for it, it runs forever, however it is subject to change, like everything <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->, oh and they weld open and closed things <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    May I ask where you would use the welder? That is to say, does it work on any and every door/chokepoint? Or does it only work on certain areas, designated by the map itself?

    Also, is it possible to open a door (welded shut) without a welder? I imagine that the aliens should have a way of circumventing the door, even if it leads to them beating on it for 5 minutes or so.

    Offtopic question: Is anything about this mod <b>NOT</b> STC? <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->

    I'm guessing the theme, the story, the races, and the existance of the mod itself isn't STC.

    I hope... <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    Welds are placed by the mapper, and yes, the alien builder can destroy the welds, currently, however its STC <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> and most of the gameplay aspects and such are STC because were still testing them! <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah, The welder is currently infinite in "Ammo" though thats an interestign concept. Welds are placed at secret routes or strategic points on the map and serve to dramatically modify the flow of a game.

    P.S. Xerxes was a persian king before he was in system shock, just "F.Y.I"

    You wouldn't happen to be a member of the TTLG forums would you? <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->

    And unoriginal? Ha! Right. At least you didn't swipe a name from a military acronym. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->
