or is it just me?
Somehow the wait for 1.1 has slowed things down quite a bit or then it's just me who has trouble finding it interesting to visit General Discussion and Suggestions lately. When the 1.1 teaser info came out - Devour and Silence - things were very lively and I imagined that information would keep dripping until the release of 1.1. Well, it hasn't and the lack of information has caused lack of discussion, again, at least on my part. Of course, the international situation is reducing the activity, but I don't think it's just that.
So, I guess I'm asking the devs and playtesters to consider dropping a few new crumbs to the eager masses.

Actually no, it's the S&I forum that has the highest "OMG"-to-interesting-discussions-ratio. The general forum is quite dull at the moment I must admit. I hang out in Discussions where I am participating in learned and high browish debates about the war, the leftist etc. Well ok, it's getting pretty ugly at times. But that's how bored I am
Oh, and I play ns as well as Burnout 2 on the PS2. I am, as many others, waiting for the 1.1,. With the 1.1 release known to all there are many aspects of the game that are pointless to discuss here, since they will most likely be changed. Also we have whipped to death many times several topics about 1.04 that can tolerate no more whipping. Or we just cant be bothered to abuse it any more.
So, get over to off-topic and rant about how much you hate the new zelda game or how it is a mystery to you why grocery bags in america STILL come without carrying strops....
Seriously?
Silence will supposedly mute both movement sounds, the grunting sounds that all aliens but skulks make, and attack sounds, although the 'hit' sounds will remain.

According to all the movies and tv-series I've seen as well as actual tales from real-life americans that I know: yes. Grocery bags with carrying straps are very rare over there. For some reason I cannot fathom. It might just be me asking the wrong americans though We're talking the free ones that you can pick up at any supermarket. Suave high street Boutiques have invented the carrying strap as far as I am told. Perhaps by european import Now I am about to hi-jack this thread and turn it into a discussion of cultural peculiarities. I will condemn you to Off-topic-dom!

Ah! ok, I've heared before but I didn?t knew it was official, thanks
so there really arent a lot of threads growing 'round here.
k. in the United States Midwest we have plastic shopping bags made out of real thin plastic and they have handles, and we have slightly larger paper ones made of thick brown paper that dont ahve handles, you ahve to carry them from the bottom, but its okay because they are formed kinda box-like so the bottom is flat.
