    The Onos was the very first one I did, before I'd really found a style. The Fade... he was hard. Mostly because all of the aliens can be non-threatening if they're not actively trying to kill you -- except the Fade. The Fade is just *scary* no matter what. Making him cute was a real challenge, and I'm still not entirely happy with the result.     mebbe it's just me, but the big version of Onos looks really good, and the scaled down version always looks like "Eor" from winnie the pooh to me.

    i see the front horn as an eye, and the wrinkle on the forehead as an ear, and the Onos' right hand side shoulder horn as the ear we can only see part of

    as if he's looking down and right in a facial profile view
