<div class="IPBDescription">Take this test to find out.</div> I made this up real quick just for fun. The numbers probalby dont match up in the end but oh well I did this in 10 min.

Take this test to see just how much of a NS Rambo / Team player you are.

Complete the following statements by using the following numbers as answers.
==========================
0: I never do this no matter what.
1: I do this as a last resort.
2: I do this as the situation warrants it.
3: I do this most of the time.
4: I always do this.
==========================

1. When I play aliens I try to be a Gorge.
2. When the round starts I immediately Skulk rush or hive scout.
3. When I play as marine I try to be Commander.
4. If I am a Gorge I will go “Combat Gorge”.
5. I ask the commander for a welder so I am able to maintain structures, armor, and fix weld points.
6. I obey commander orders to the best of my ability.
7. If there were a medic class for the marines I would be it.
8. If I ask the commander for a welder its so I can use it as a super knife weapon that does not require ammo.
9. If a teammate is in trouble I will try to go to his aid.
10. With orders to build a RT you are half way through construction when a skulk parasites you and runs away. In response you go give chase to him in hopes of hunting him down.
11. I am content with guarding a hive and even staying there for up to 10 minuets while I wait for backup and the commander to drop In TFs and PG.
12. If I have to take a hit for the team for the benefit of everyone else I will.
13. All you live for is killing every enemy you see.
14. If you think something is right you will go that way even if your team says not to.
15. You have the mentality that harassing the marines and keeping them busy to protect the hive is a higher priority then having a positive kill ratio.
16. You judge other people not by the number of kills they have but how well they can accomplish the greater goals.
17. I am perfectly willing to be “engineer” and build and guard base/hive.
18. I think that marines should travel and take objectives with a buddy or better yet a squad.
19. You have 24 health and an HMG and no armor. Knowing you won’t last long you give your HMG to a teammate who is about to go in with the first wave to assault a hive. He has 100 hp and full HA but only a LMG.
20. You will choose to play on the winning all the time even if it is not the team you like to play on.

Find out the results! Add up your score.

0-19 You are a Rambo. You like to kill every enemy and then take the credit for it.

20-39 You are short of Rambo status. You are a versatile Rambo if there ever was one. You will listen to the commander but if you see the enemy you will try to take them all out.

40-59 You like to help the team out and you like to keep the ambience of the game. But you won’t mind getting a piece of the action either.

60-80 You are the ultimate team player. You will listen to the commander, give the team intel, and working in the base area or out building an outpost is fun to you.

I scored a 51 and I feel that is about right as to how I play the game, how about you?

    I think your test is flawed.
    The following questions should receive a 0 or low score if you are a perfect team player:

    4. If I am a Gorge I will go “Combat Gorge”.
    8. If I ask the commander for a welder its so I can use it as a super knife weapon that does not require ammo.
    10. With orders to build a RT you are half way through construction when a skulk parasites you and runs away. In response you go give chase to him in hopes of hunting him down.
    13. All you live for is killing every enemy you see.
    14. If you think something is right you will go that way even if your team says not to.
    20. You will choose to play on the winning all the time even if it is not the team you like to play on.

    If you do end up answering 0 to all of those, even with answering 4 to the rest you cannot reach 60 points. If you made these questions negatives, it would be fine <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    Taking the test as though these were negatives, I got a 63. Without them, I was in the 40s.

    But some of those questions where rambo friendly for high scores. You'll have to reverse the question or fix it up a bit.

    But the test needs a little changing, like he said.

    Clevar test bro <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    im super super lazy, but ill asume i get around 60 ( didnt take but read it , funny )

    like they said, the positive rambo ones should be reversed to be 100% accurate

    example instead of
    4. If I am a Gorge I will go ?Combat Gorge?.
    could be
    4. If I am a Gorge i will NEVER go "Combat Gorge"

    Spot on 50 but as everyone else has said some of the questions need reversing ;o

    71 here, taking the noted questions as reversals (and reading #20 as 'joining the team who needs more players, even if it's not your favorite of the two').

    I didn't add up my score, but i think i'm somewhere in the middle. I'd just like to add that there is a difference between a "Rambo" and a "Vet." Vets run out and kill stuff too, but they use stealth, choose their targets selectively (ie. allowing unobservant enemies to run past) and they rarely die before running out of ammo. Gorges are also one of their prime targets. Vets are a type of rambo, but their work is still for the greater good... in a sense. So I guess somebody's rambo status can also be modified by their experience, and thats also something people need to think about, when they take a test such as this.

    I got 45 points <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    How willing I am to work for the team depends pretty much on the commander. If it is a bad commander wich gives idiotic waypoints/orders, I wont follow his orders.

    If there is a good commander I will do almost anything he tells me to do.

    Same thing goes with the aliens: Stupid teammates and im doing my own race. Smart teammates and i will sacrifice myself for the collective <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    The optimal tactician should get exactly 40 points, answering nr 2 on every question.
    Because every situtation is different and doing something as the situation warrants it is a pretty good answer for every question.

    So I guess I got 40 points <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Surely the correct answer should be number 2 for all of them? Judging the situation allows you to properly help your team no matter what the circumstances.

    Then perhaps option 2 does not fit into the scale and should be changed to 'I do this occasionally'

    If you change the "bad questions" into negatives then its about 67-69.

    Thats about right.... damn rambos.

    I got 53 points...Good attempt for a role test, but it seems a bit false. I'm very team orientated and can't stand playing on n00b-like severs. End-game scores are very unimportant. Afterall, the comm or the gorges usually have 0 points but it is they who are the real champions in a round <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I find myself ramboing but 90% of the time when i rambo i get more done than the team has done all game. Im not trying to sound elite or snobby or anything but it seems like there are 2 types of rambos. The "bad ****" and the "noobs". I particularly make entire alien teams afraid of me because i go into Ninj4 mode and usually kill a hive. Ill wait in a corner for probably 10 minits before noone is in the hive and BLAM. I had an entire team afraid of me once (true story, they were tracking me everywere. I took down 6 hives that game. They were tracking me going GET TO PORT H4XWELL IS COMING TO PORT). But then there is the true "noob" rambo. The person who gets jet + hmg + weld and runs out with the welder firing is him. He makes noise and trys to find a fight. He tries to knife fades and onos (well were all guilty of that). I guess what im trying to say is (music starts) JUST GIVE RAMBOS A CHANCE, O YES, JUST GIVE THEM A CHANCE (music stops que crickets) I guess ill just shut up now.

    40.

    But I <b>KNOW</b> I rambo sometimes, because sometimes, it's a good thing. It's all down to what's happening in game at the time.

    The we should take note of how we define a rambo.

    I define a rambo as someone who consistently doesn't follow orders.

    Rambos tend not to communicate at all, they don't understand the importance and potency of teamwork and are more typically interested in frag count than team win. Rambos never get equipment when I am commanding, and quite often get llama'd or banned.
    Occasionally it is useful for someone to run off to an as yet unexplored corner of the map, and can often lead to taking and securing res points/a hive, however this is distinct from those people who just won't go where they're needed.

    Rambos = muppets = ban on the "no time for muppets" server <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Teamwork is key. Use it.
