SUYF looks like crap, and it sounds like crap if pronounced ... soo-eef? No way.
Why can't people stick with 'SUYF'? if you look at thinkgeek, they came up with a lot of alternate non-offensive meanings for it, so I don't understand why people use SUYF instead

You understand 2 abbreviations...
Yet people are stupid for making up a humorous one to complement SUYF? (you know what I originally typed, blahtoyou word filter.)
Go watch some episodes of the Simpsons, you'll appreciate it more once you find the right one.

"Shut up yous face!" "Shut up your face."

Isn't that the one with Lisa and the grammer robot? Where homer gets his thumb chopped off, and the story keeps switching between different characters a'la "Reservoir Dogs"?
That was a good one, diddn't catch the connection until just now though.

Yeah, that episode.
Not sure if that's exactly where this variation on the phrase came from, but regardless... it's much funnier after seeing that episode again.
I always thought that SUYF was the swear filter replacing a very familiar acronym with something similar. Unfortunately, I came up with something even worse.
And yeah, I liked that episode of the Simpsons. One of the better ones in the later seasons.
Louie: They's throwing robots! Linguo: They are throwing robots. Legs: He's disrespecting us. Shuttupa you face! Linguo: Shut up your face! Legs: Wassamatta you? Louie: You aint so big. Legs: Me and him are gonna whack you in the Labonza! Linguo: Bad... grammar... overload. Error! Error!
best parts of that whole episode...
Lisa: I'll get us out of this. Say dad, wanna go see my project for the school science fair? Homer: No Lisa... but I sure don't want to eat this crappy breakfast! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lisa: If you misuse language, he'll correct you! Homer: Well, lets put him to the test! Me love beer! Linguo: I love beer! Homer: Hey! He loves beer! Here little fellah! Linguo: ERROR! Homer: I'm sorry, I thought he was a party robot.

Making abbreviations for words then making them secrets... hmm what's the world coming to
The one above. And "Shut up your face"
And there's more. I can't remember them all.
the question is
WHY
SUYF looks like crap, and it sounds like crap if pronounced ... soo-eef? No way.
Why can't people stick with 'SUYF'?
