I think you should keep the CS models with CS. NS is a brand new MOD! Lets not drag the other HL mod's into the modeling of NS weapons/ so forth. But it is a good idea, I just most likely wouldn't use it. Seeing this is a futuristic MOD, and AK 47's aren't really futuristic ;(
Well, your entitled to YOUR opinion. But thats like saying don't bring in any models from any game, just because NS is a NEW MOD. Its just gonna happen anyway.

Models from every game get converted to other games no matter what, all you have to do is simply not put your name when you create it. If they have a problem with it..well too bad..worse things could happen. It's just a model. Feel privledged that a person liked your model so much that they wanted to convert it to use it in another game.

It's not about copyright garbage, it's about respect for the authors. They don't freely publish their work so that some shmoe they've never heard of, can make money off of their work.

I didn't do anything to the reload, it's the default NS anims for the LMG. I really can't imagine how it's possible that it looks decent.

My LMG turns into a Morita, but the probalby with that is that my HMG is the Morita Carbine and it confuses me.

This is the same attitude that sends a lot of modellers underground. They don't feel they are getting the minimal amount of respect for their invested time, so they create private communities of modellers and exchange their models there. That way they know they have people who can contribute and respect each other's work. So I suggest you change your attitude, or else cry me a river when all the good modellers are gone.
Iwas going to convert this model for my own exp im not all that good at this modeling stuff im giving it a go but its not easy and i can't find any very good tutorials the only good one i have is the firearms one but i don't find it that helpful.
1 - Open up the AK smd. Delete the hands. Save it in ms3d format. 2 - Open up the NS LMG, merge it with the ms3d file. Resize and move it as necessary. 3 - Go through the joints list, and assign all the same vertices from the LMG to the AK. Ignore the hand joints, focus on the gun joints. Use the LMG model as a reference for what joint does what with the 'select assigned' button. Gun joints are 01, 49, 55, 51, 53. I think that's all of them.
4 - Oh yeah, save it as the f_lmg-ref.smd or whatever it's called and lastly, compile it with the LMG qc
the animations you used were the ns default, right?

Reload is a bit off as I saw it in HLMV, but it's still cool.
