OMGED pple quote me from IRC. Yes i do loev the arquitecture, its really well done. Dont want to mean that its easy but..yeah its far easy to map using the wall_lab textures than using any other set. DOnt get me wrong, i do really like the pics and the feeling and as Mart said i think you should try using another sky as it really looks Eclipse one (tell me if im wong <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ). Well. its looking wonderfull nice job <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
yah ur rite about the sky. I thought about finding a snowy skybox and then having a cold blue color instead (so that i would be kinda like an icey installation <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->). I'll try to fiddle with it <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->~
Teh Uber man, teh uber. I'm starting a new NS map, and I hope I can get near your ability. This looks soooo good. cant wait for release! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Beautiful in uncountable ways... but so was Eclipse.
I don't mean to be critical but I think you should <b>thank</b> the author of Eclipse and mention how you were <b><i>very</b></i> inspired by his map. You gotta give him some serious credit somewhere because but you took the <i>exact</i> texture set and imitated the same style of clean brushwork.
Coming up with just the right Textures Set and developing a style of brushwork that is simple yet effective to convey a sense of architecture is one of the greatest challenges of Worldcrafting. Eclipse did that with utter and simple perfection.
I cannot give you credit for orginality, but I can definately give you credit for execution, this is definately a lovely execution of the Eclipse style with a few variations such as your skylights and ambient lighting. (The ambient light is my favorite part of your map.)

That makes no sense. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> You can't "imitate" that kind of work.
What I like the most, is how smoooooooth that lighting is. Keep up the good work!
Wow, its amazing!!!. I love this orange lights <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
Awesome map! I was just wondering, as a general question, how does one make ambient lighting? Do you actually put a dim light in the middle of a room just for ambient light, or does it all come from a light source (Sky, light, etc.)
It's a param when you compile. Use Nemisis batch compiler. It's easy to understand while using it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Its kinda obvious that im a big fan of eclipse, and that i respect KFS alot for his work, so i think what you're suggesting is kinda silly. Im in no way trying to overshadow the fact that ive been extremely inspired by eclipse, you would have to blind to avoid noticing that :)~
