Weak Defence.

Well i was building a dc in a game just before and then i noticed, why do they have these big shields around the top yet they die so very easily. dont make no sense. Would be nice if u could make a big wall of dcs and it takes ages for marines to cut through it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> by that time aliens would come running along and kill em. better than crap ocs.

Ocs are alot better on offence, well as there name is anyway. If dcs were really hard and they healed other chambers better cos there just crap atm. This would mean that the aliens could have a nice defence, structure under attack, alien comes rushing even if its a few skulks going against lots of marines the dcs would help the skulks. atm its more like u hear a structure is under attack, u run along and the marines hold the area. May have to decrease dc per area then.

    Um, the idea is that Defense Chambers serve as little portable medic stations. I don't see people getting hurt by all the "spikes" on the Offense Chamber models.

    Try building three defense chambers across a narrow hallway and then 5 Offense Chambers in front of them. I guarantee unless the marines have GL and HMG (or siege, I guess) that wall will be up for a while.

    They really are more like 'Healing' chambers, and not Defensive... but they allow Defensive alien upgrades. Thus the name. I assume.

    I have no problem with how tough they are, it balances out with what they offer.
