Loud Ambience Sound In Ns_nothing's Power Silo

<div class="IPBDescription">It's hurting my ears</div> Is it a map specific issue or a bug or a setup problem of mine? I find the back ground (ambience) sound in Power Silo hive untolerably loud so much I can't stand to be in that hive and can hardly hear my chums speaking over their microphones. Anyone else have made this observation?

(I asked in mapping forum but it could go anywhere really).

    Yes, some environment sounds become damn loud sometimes.
    Thats the main reason why everyone ruishes cargo.
    Its not the res, its the noise.
    Rarely blocked doors dont stop to play their moving sound, too.

    There is a command to prevent sounds from being played - or, terminate them once they've started being played. I'm not going to list it here because some people regard it as cheating.

    But... this is basically the same problem in CS with the gokarts map, or office with the garage door near the CT spawn.

    If you know the command, use it. If not... stay out of powersilo <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    its not even cheating, its a command put in to stop a bug.

    using EAX and headphones is more a cheat (= unfair advantage agains ppl without) than toggling off that way too loud sounds in an area were hiding and sneaking makes no sense.

    As same as custom gamma settings it kills atmosphere.
