<div class="IPBDescription">Post cool ideas for Map scenerios</div> I think they should add cool map scenerio instead of like kill all spawn points then man idea (of course that stays) but i would like diversity in objective which is cool.


IDEAS:

1. Marines start in a small ship, then must go to alien Main hive area and go and gain special Alien structure, other away around alien can get reactive core from small ship to balance and if the teams research the item they get special power ups to kill.

2. Marines must self destruct the ship and Run to ESCAPE PODS!!!! aliens well search and hunt =D It's the same idea as kill all but instead the alien must defend the self destruct pipe insert area like in aliens the movie then must be in escape pod which is near the self desruct console.

3. Capture alien queen? Capture human A.I system (sounds like halo <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> )

k that my ideas NOW LET HEAR YURS TO GIVE IDEAS TO MAP DEVELOPERS FOR NS!!! GOOO NS!!!!!!!!!

    are you talking about different "types" of maps with different types of objectives such as CS had hostage/assassin/bomb maps?

    This is sort of an idea I had a while back to get around the entire HL = **** in outdoors. I suggested a large labyrinthine canyon type thingy, with caves and whatnot. And its on a planet that was halfway through terraforming, so there is a nanotech network to support medpack dropping/spam, and the like, also they use the CC from the Atmospheric processor (Its fully automated, but needed a human to start it up) And they go from there. There is a ship in orbit, but it is unwilling to send any landing crews for fear of bringing back any kharaa, so the marines need to clear the map of all aliens in order to be rescued/end the round. Also, the canyon type environment, would allow for multiple levels of combat, high speed lerk/jetpack runs, and a great deal of fun. I might have to learn how to map just to create this, as nobody wants to touch it so far as I can tell.

    TSA Ship crash landed on a frontier planet, is partway through Atmospheric processing so the weather is lightning storms, dark clouds, really moody and dark, no moons but two suns, sadly its nighttime. Marines managed to crash land in/nearby the Atmospheric processor, and jettisoned the infected part of the ship, which lands at the other end of the canyon (or rather in one of the three hive locations, possibly wreckage at each?) and they are sent out to destroy the Kharaa. Thie ship was infected while rescuing some scientific personell, a doctor had hidden a sample of the Kharaa bacteria and intended to study it, he was attacked and killed by criminals he owed money to in a dark secotr of the ship, Kharaa grew, ship was attacked, crash, blah blah blah, story less important. Anyway, the canyons (Being on several differing levels offer a new strategy, but as they are closely packed, it never leaves open space larger than say, The great viaduct on NS_Nothing, also a myriad of twisting caves and caverns, linked up, would add a much needed surprise attack angle for the Kharra (Possibly have them lit at parts with crystals found only in this planet that illuminate dark areas? or a glowing type of indigenous bacteria? so as to not leave the caves pitch black)

    Anyway, I have a few other ideas on how to make it work, give reasons why it wont work, and ill try to work ways around it, but if its a bum idea, let me know so i can let the dream die.
