1) Most people should have Adobe Acrobat Reader, if they don't, they should get it... It's free at www.adobe.com 2) Adobe format doesn't allow easy copy/pasting... Some people might want that ability... 3) The real question is, where can we find an updated manual? The current manual doesn't show Alien structures costs or HP, and the marine structure costs are not right... Somebody should update it and include more accurate information (does Spike Shooter hit directly or where the sprite shows?)...
you can cut and paste from Acrobat reader easily <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
so i can print the darn thing!!!<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> Perhaps because not everyone has adobe? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Adobe's .pdf reader is free. The whole point is that it's a <b>P</b>ortable <b>D</b>ocument <b>F</b>ormat.
The manual is kept online, perhaps thats why they chose html <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> But I wouldn't mind a PDF of the manual, sure. But it would require a lot of reformatting to make it look good.
pdf is a great format and most modern computers come with it already installed. plus if u want to print just go download it for free (even though i have the version that costs money its not pirated either)

Yeah, very very small <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyway, adobe aren't the only ones who make pdf viewing software.
Maybe make a printerfriendly version but other than that...

You lost me
Adobe Acrobat = commercial, for making PDFs
If anyone feels like making a pdf it's fine though

where c:\SIERRA\Half-life\ is the directory you installed half-life in
it may be (for me) d:\games\SIERRA\Half-life\
