    If you're talking about network games, no those are a locked speed. Its syncronious too, which means that when one person slows down, you all slow down. There is no packet loss (if you lose one it resends it), so things can get quite slow in big games or on slow connections...

    I meant single player. it's <b>slow</b>. I mean, the guys take forever to run or drive somewhere, and battles are very, very, very slow.

    I'm talking about the actual speed, not framerates. It's just very slow. It might take a full second for an infantryman to take one step.

    Trade shadows for resolution wherever possible. Getting rid of things like cloud and 3d shadows will help give your rig a kick in the pants.

    nukem can you give us some specs - and what settings are you running the game at?
