<div class="IPBDescription">Zone of Enders 2 - Anyone played it?</div> Has anyone played Zone of Enders 2, yet? I'm considering buying it, but I want to know how good it is! GMR (EBGames gaming mag) gave it a good review, but I'm still not convinced.

i didnt enjoy the first Z.O.E. one bit...it got old very fast....

The designers said that Z.O.E 2 is almost completely different from Z.O.E 1. It's got an anime look to it.

From what I understand there's a MUCH deeper battle system involved. I'm going to pick it up very soon. Playing ZOE on hard mode fighting Viola in the warehouse was beautiful.

i got the ZOE1 demo , was good for a few hours then i didnt look at it again , iv heard a few people say ZOE2 is the same but i havented played it yet.

Already made... check out the HL mods in Fileplanet.. its called Metal Gear: The Vipers Pit or something like that. Warning though... it does not look purty <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>.

ZOE 2 looks cool.

And DOOManiac, I think Kojima-san is like George Lucas, where he feels honored that people consider his work good enough to be ripped off. It's been on the front of Planet Half-Life a few times, and the MGS Mod team might have set up some deal with Konami/K-San so that they can use the MGS stuff. Not all game companies freak out at the thought of piracy. LucasArts knows people are ripping off Jedi Outcast, yet they do nothing to stop the work. Why? because to rip off, someone has to have played, and to have played and then create a rip-off means you liked the product enough to go and work on creating your own version of it.

Lots of people don't hold legal copies of Jedi Knight II. George Lucas, owning the world as he does, is mildly indifferent to this as long as revenue from the product keeps coming in, and his place at the throne of the world is assured.

Well boys, I picked it up today. The verdict is = great game. The battle system is deeper than before. It actually has a feasible plot. And the main character isn't a 12 year old whiney kid with blue hair. And Jehuty looks WAY better grey and white.

Yeah, and back in the day when LucasArts game division was Lucas Film, the development teams had real trouble getting the games approved by George Lucas (or one of his cronies). Everything had to be verified to not conflict with his view of the StarWars universe.

I don't think this happens now though. All the Star Wars games for ages have sucked, and wasn't there some beat em up one with a Jedi with a rocket launcher? Not very Star Warsy, really.
