Explanation: this list was created so that people who have played on abusive servers can post them and give others a warning.

Not too long ago, I was banned from the server:

I was a frequent player so I wrote to one of the admins, hoping to clear up any misunderstandings....

keep in mind that i went back to the server using a friends serial to see why i got banned (the admin predator doesn't seem to understand that you can change your serial --> as you can see yourself in his response). when i went back for the second time, explaining that i was using a friend's key, i said i was sorry and that i never saw his question (i seriously never did!!) and that i would be glad to answer if he asked me once more.

2. I gave ample opportunity for you to reply , over a period of 5 minutes i spammed questions to u , with half the ppl on the server talkin about it , and you typing stuff in all the time to , but ignoring what i had to say!

i thought that predator was a reasonable/decent guy. i guess not :\
im still puzzled on why i got banned, after i apologized and explained that i wasnt paying attention to the text on-screen. i even told him i would answer his question if he would ask me again (when im paying attention)!

although i'm surprised that i got treated the way i did by the admins, it wasn't the first time iv'e experienced abuse/prejudice on this server. i was accused of using derogatory words (against African-Americans and Chinese people) because i was winning and they were mad. some sore loser started spreading these rumors and got me in trouble with the main admin (jew). ((if the admins have any doubts, they can check the logs. in fact, i urge the admins to check the logs, as they can see that everything i said is true.))
Just to clear anything up, I'm NOT a nazi. The Soup Nazi is merely a fictional character from a show called Seinfeld.

First, It's pretty hard to pin accusations on someone about derogatory words without you actually saying something, perhaps, you don't feel certain words are, and you proceed to use them even though other people take it as an afront.
Second, Why does it matter if the Server Ops is Jewish ? It sounds so far that you do seem to have some ill-feelings towards a certain religion/race if you feel it is that important to note it so.
HOBO clan server or whatever turns on cheats everynow and then to make their hives build fast or structures to siege on bigdig. Heh, I tell the players on the server they cheat and to look in the console and I get kicked. Nothing like seeing ...

And as a rule of human nature, most of the time, such things are provoked. So I'm sure they didn't want to hear about your "elite" pwnzing skillz, if you did indeed flaunt your abilities, as many people do, they have every right to Kick/llama/ban you for any reason at any time.

What, you mean like this? Got it from the BioG server a few hours ago.
Granted, the game was basically over with us (aliens) about to take down their desperation comm chair, but it was still a little bit annoying. Nobody seemed to mind much, aside from the annoyance of everyone dying from an admin's quick fingers.
All the "[BioG]BlackMagic killed <i>alienplayer</i> with machinegun" messages were simultaneous, even though we were mostly spread out to find that last hiding marine. You can even see the "sv_cheats changed to 1" / "sv_cheats changed to 0" messages. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

As i mentioned earlier, this thread is for those who want to speak out against abusive servers/admins.
I do believe people have the freedom of speech, especially when they believe that they have been violated.
NOT- the freedom to say whatever damn well please you.

I played on an Evil server about a month ago [late January] as Alien and noticed that our team had virtually infinate Resources within the first 30 seconds of that particular round. An admin was on my team (i dont remember his name) and so I asked him what was going on. At first he denied that anything was wrong, but my team could hear our conversation and someone said that he had cheated res for our team. Then he responded by saying that he was "making the game more fun for us", as if that was a valid excuse. So I basically told him that I thought that was unfair and ruined the game. He answered with a long string of swears. So I told the marines that the admin was cheating resources and I got booted. Im not really angry, and I dont mean to rant, but that was pretty inappropriate of the admin. I know that that one Evil member in question my not represent the whole clan, but thats quite a bad impression he gave me of his group. Something similar happened to one of my friends on a sepporate occassion on an EVIL server regarding EVIL admin(s) in need of additude adjustments.
On a side note, I also have a pet~peeve with servers that reserve 4+ slots for VIP players, but they are NEVER used! (Fists of Ra for example). So I have to try to join about 5-10 servers that seem empty to find one I can actually play on. It wouldnt bother me so much if those slots appeared to be used at least somewhat frequently. As long as i don't break any rules, i have the freedom to post.
Any half-wit can go around calling people dirty words. I believe in freedom of speech as long as it's informative and non-offensive.
