<div class="IPBDescription">anyone interested?</div> hey, while watching TV, i keep seeing the commercial for a movie filmed in part in the state i live in... oregon, and well, the name of the movie is "The Hunted" in the commercial there is a part where the old guy says that the victums weren't killed with a hatchet, but with a blade.... and it shows a picture of beniceo del toro (i think) pulling said blade out of a tree....

i asked shena if she knew of any images (since she's the God of image finding) and well, she said no... so... i went searching on my own... after 6 hours spanned across the past few days, i've finally found it....but here in lies a question, does anyone WANT it to be made?

    Okay, I've always wanted a bowie knife in NS, because it would really justify the whopping (30!) damage the knife does. Since the center of gravity is towards the front of the blade, the force of the blow is amplified by the weight. The front of the blade also happens to be where the sharpest cutting edge is. <i>That</i> would hurt. I think the one shown in the attached pic is used by the Royal Marines...

    My ex-special forces history teacher once killed a deer by jumping from it's tree-stand on it's back and slitting it's throat with a knife... Course it got back up and tried to run and then died of blood loss...but still...

    Anyway, on the topic, the origionally posted knife just doesn't seem "right" for NS in my opnion. I dunno.
