The shot of the armory is amazing. Will that actually spit out weapons for Marines to pick up or does it just look cool and the commander distributes all the equipment?

It's used by the commander to make your weapons better; he drops weapons where wants (hopefully near you! ). As an alien scout, if you <i>don't</i> see an Armory, it's time to call in the swarm, as it means the Marines are using much weaker weapons.

For the Marine on the ground, the Armory is just something to protect and admire. And demand.

Oh my god... I can't wait for this game to come out.

They look like they could pierce through that armory's hull in one slice, but that's just me. They do look pretty scarylicious! Nice work on all the shots, guys.

Also, I think readyroom.org is the sister-site to natural-selection.org, and it isn't maintained by fans, its maintained by good ol' MonsE, who is (at least) listed as a team member on natural-selection.org. But, its still pretty cool to have so many people mapping, writing, drawing, uh... HTML-ing (heh) and so on.
