Sky Textures Missing?

<div class="IPBDescription">Laggy Skies</div> I have just recently got this problem after I installed the Cilaris map, when I look outside (in any map that has windows) it gets all laggy, like you know when your head is sticking through the ceiling and there is nothing there and when you move the screen there are trails?

Thats what it does for me when I look outside now. Any help would be appreciated.

THere's a bug with skies in Direct3D mode, but it's not that. What is your display mode?

Its on Direct 3D, 800x600 and D3D device is on Default.

Try OpenGL.

OMG I have the same problem! I have been told that my Video Card overheated and damaged a little. If anyone knows this is not the case and can offer a solution I would be VERY appreciative.

Thankyou so much. OpenGL fixes the problem. It's great to see they sky once again.

Is there any solution to this or is it purely that D3D is iffy on HL? It's just I'd rather play in D3D mode 'cause I have a better monitor refresh rate than with OpenGL.
