Is It Just Me Or Does V1.04 Lean Towards Aliens?

However, with an experienced group of players, games tend to lean towards marines in most cases (and vice versa). When you put experienced players into the mix, the first statement turns false.
The aliens are probably doing better in your games, because aliens "elite" the marines in small games, and your giving them a resource boost by having the teams uneven.
Go play on a 16+ player server with fairly good marines, and you'll see that they are almost equal in pubs.
Nano-Gridlock and Vadakill's servers are a good place to start.
If not, the aliens are most likely to wind becuz of brute force.
The onos regen I have noticed, it regens very fast. but I'm thinking that's the 10% regen or something ( i can't remember, i think lvl 3 regen is 10% of original health regen per pulse... so onos is 500 hp, then it regens 50hp per pulse)
However this is not proven to be true. My memory always fails me.
I promise you that a skilled group of marines can beat ANY equal or lesser skilled alien team at any time.
Try playing on more servers where the clans play (when they are open to public) and you'll see what I mean.
Here's a sample 'sure win' strat.
Tech rush #216: Marine rush and secure 2-3 res nodes. During this time they build minimal equipment, and use marines as 'walking sentries' to guard the res nodes and spawn area. Comm backs them up with a HEALTHY dose of med pack spam so they can easily handle the skulks. Grabbing a hive is NOT important to them. Once they have enough res they pass out jetpacks and hmgs to a few marines and they all head to alien hive. (aliens will only have enough res to drop hive IF they are lucky) Marines get to hive and JP/JMGs clear it out and kill hive/spawn camp. Once hive is down game is basically over. This is a 'sure win' since marines will distress beacon if you kill too many of them or attack spawn, and all they have to do is hold a few res nodes for a few minutes to have enough res to equip 3 players with jp/hmg LONG before second hive is finished building.
So for ANYONE who feels that aliens win too often, look for a pub server that has a clan tag on it and try playing when a nice bunch of clanners are there. THEN tell me how aliens always win. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

So if you no have half life on comp, why are you even here talking about NS?

Aliens always win.
It just never ends I tell ya ..
That or really.. REALLY stupid Marines. Especially so on 16+ player servers.
(note: Even if you weren't restricted by the firewall, unless each of those school computers had an individually-purchased copy of HL, with its own key, you wouldn't be able to play non-LAN anyway. Each copy has its own key-number, which is tracked by the WON servers. Seriously.. just go grab a copy of HL. You can pick one up for ten bucks.)
But I'm sure that, if organised (marine styled) their chances are nearly as great on small servers.
EDIT: btw, playing during lunchtime is bad for your concentration and all that ya know... it's not serious work from you <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I think we're starting to wear out this "game balance" dead horse. Can we start on another one please? Maybe Dead Horse v1.1?

I think people actually register JUST to post balance threads.
