Pulse Rifle/smartgun Sound Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">Help please</div> Ok, I figured this is the place to post this thread since these are custom sounds. I downloaded some pulse rifle and smartgun sounds to replace mg and hmg. There is a wierd problem though. It seems that the pulse rifle sound is normal, until i hear the smartgun sound in game. Then when I hear the smartgun sound in game the pulse rifle sound becomes high pitched. Like a squeling noise kind of. Anyone know whats wrong? Anyone had this problem before? Anyone anyone know where I can find some normal pulse rifle and smartgun sounds?

If not anyone know where I might be able to download sounds similar to smartgun and/or pulse rifle.

If anyone else uses a Pulse Rifle and Smartgun sound for MG and HMG, and don't have any problems with it. I would appreciate it if they would post a likn to where I can download them to find more out abou tthis problem.

the pulse rifle is supposed to be high pitched.

Know I tested the sound when I first started in a game it is normal, then after I hear the smartgun the pulse rifle becomes high pitched squeling noise, it hurts my ears to listen to.

Does it do the same thing when you decrease the volume?

How many times have you rebooted and/or restarted HL and/or reconnected to different servers and still had this problem?

Use a different PR sound, maybe the one from the AvP sound pack v2, I had this problem before but I was using the PR sound from another pack but after replacing it with the one from the AvP 2 pack it returned to normal.
